1. The One-Minute TIP

This Spring, take time for yourself. Take time to get away
with a notebook or planner, and get organized. Write down
your dreams, and create paths to their realization. You
CAN get from "here" to "there", it only requires an
effective strategy, a bit of time, and some hard work!
Spring is the time to make it happen.

2. Welcome Notes

I love writing TIPS as a way of reaching out, as a way of
expressing my opinions and ideas, and perhaps most
selfishly, as a way of reinforcing the things that are
truly important to me. Each week, I receive email from
people all over the world sharing their sense of community.
It is truly an honor and privilege to have friends in
dozens of countries, scattered across this small planet.

This week, one woman even sent me a little poem about the
joy she gets from her dog. She invited me to share it with
Cody, but I'm afraid he wasn't impressed. When I recited
it to him, he just walked away, and when I wrote it down
for him, I'm afraid he just chewed it up and spit it out.
Oh, well. He'll never be a poet, but we still let him hang
around and defend us against the squirrels in the back yard.

This past week I sent an extra TIPS about the World-Class
Life(tm) Conference in May, which has only a few openings
left, and announcing a new Group Coaching Intensive that
begins in April. Several people have already contacted me
about that, and I believe there are 4 openings left. Group
coaching is economical, lots of fun, and very, very
powerful! If there are things you want to accomplish and
if you'd like some coaching, and a TEAM supporting you to
success, I hope you'll contact me!

In either case, I encourage you to take ACTION quickly, as
I expect the last openings will go quickly. I look forward
to hearing from you!

3:  March Into Spring

Spring has not quite arrived in Oregon, but our cherry tree
is in blossom, the daffodils are about to pop, and even our
Oak trees have small buds on them. When Cody and I walk in
the morning, it's still before sunrise, but at least
there's enough light to see where we're going and I've
noticed a LOT more birds singing! Spring is getting close!

That is important for many reasons, but most important is
that the return of spring means it's time to take a look at
the road ahead.

There are three times a year when it seems natural to
pause, review the past and preview the future. The most
common, and I think the LEAST helpful is New Year's. Now,
your experience may be different, but for me New Year's is
too caught up with year-end business and holiday
celebrations to plan effectively. And most tragically,
it's cold and dark outside! Who wants to design a life in
the cold rain of winter!? (My apologies and envy to our
subscribers "down under" - I suspect New Year's makes a lot
more sense for you!)

Another good time to review what's working, note what's not
working, and plan your future is the fall. In September,
we're back from summer vacations, school is starting, and
there's a sense of "settling in" for the winter, with
things to do, projects to complete and work to be done.

The Spring, however, is my favorite and I've found it is
the most powerful, most natural, and most optimistic time
to plot my future.

In the Spring, the days are getting longer and warmer, and
there's a sense of "buzz". There's energy and enthusiasm,
everything is turning green, everything is growing, and
anything is possible! Now is the time to SEIZE THE DAY, to
seize the opportunities, to dream big dreams and develop
strategies for success!

I know, Spring is a time for love, for flying kites and
being playful - and I take that seriously as well! - but
it's also the time to design your life. It's the time to
ask big questions, to dare big dreams, and take big risks.
At New Year's, everything is dead and even the weather is
deadening. The Fall is a time for practicality, for
buckling down and working hard, for raking leaves, putting
on the storm windows and getting ready for winter. But
Spring is the time for adventure! Spring is the time for
dreams and amazing, wonderful, astonishing visions of the

Don't waste the glory of Spring! Use these longer days!
Use the extra light to illuminate the future you really
want! Use the energy the sun is throwing at us to pick up
the pace, to embolden your step, and to "spring forward!"

This Spring, take time for yourself. Take time to get away
with a notebook or planner, and get organized. Write down
your dreams, and create paths to their realization. You
CAN get from "here" to "there", it only requires an
effective strategy, a bit of time, and some hard work!
This Spring is the time to make it happen.

If you would like a magnificent opportunity to dream and to
create careful, effective plans, away from the phones and
demands of daily life, AND the support and encouragement of
a Conference dedicated to helping you be your BEST, I hope
you'll join us in Wisconsin for the World-Class Life(tm)
Conference. There are only 11 spaces left (one person had
to cancel this week) and I would love to have you join us.

4. Quotes of the Week

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of
arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but
rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally
worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW! -- What A Ride!"
                                            -- Author Unknown

"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."
                                            -- George Bernard Shaw

"Every day do something that will inch you closer to a
better tomorrow."
                                             -- Doug Firebaugh

"He's no failure. He's not dead yet."
                                             -- William Lloyd George

5. Strictly Business:   Your TEAM for Achievement

The poet wrote that "no man is an island' and that is
certainly true for business people. By definition,
business flourishes in the "market-place", with vendors and
suppliers, staff and employees, and customers swirling all
around! It's how business gets done.

At the same time, however, too many business people feel
alone. In some micro-businesses, one person is quite
literally the owner, the manager, the staff, the janitor
and the bookkeeper. That can be lonely and inefficient.
Trying to work from home, or from a one-person office can
be distracting and (at times) depressing.

Even if you work with other people, however, too often the
feeling or sense is still that we are "all alone",
especially if you are in a position of leadership.

One of the most valuable resources any entrepreneur,
professional or small business leader can have is a Master
Mind team of safe, trusted, colleagues who will listen and
advise you. Having a TEAM of people who will be honest
with you, who understand your challenges and will share
their wisdom can be a HUGE advantage!

If you don't have a "kitchen cabinet" or unofficial "board
of directors", get one! That may sound strong or even
arrogant, but the poet was right - none of us functions at
our best when we have to do it all ourselves. Get a team.
Get some advisors you trust, people who know and understand
your situation, people who do NOT compete with you and who
will not play games. Meet with them once a week for a
business breakfast, and help each other to be your BEST.

If you don't have a TEAM and would like to be part of a
structured group led by a professional Coach, I invite you
to join my CGI-TEAM. We meet 9 times over three months,
from April through June. Check it out, and send me an
email so we can schedule an initial phone call! I invite
you to join us!

6. Resources and Tools for YOUR Success!

   #1 Your World-Class Life!(tm)
        With Dr Philip E. Humbert
May 20-22, 2004 in Green Lake, Wisconsin

Is your life working the way you planned? Are your biggest
dreams and most exciting ambitions sitting on the shelf,
waiting for "someday"? This Conference is for you! I
invite you to join me for three days in May, where the
focus will be on helping you design, create and live the
life you truly want! Top achievers are not different or
born under a lucky star. They simply KNOW what they want,
create SYSTEMS to achieve it, and then follow a road-map to

This Conference is entirely focused on helping you design
your ideal life, and create systems and plans and skills
to make it happen. Living well is an art, but there is also
a science to it. There are skills and habits that highly
successful people use, and you can learn them! We can show
you! Don't miss this! "Seize the day" (carpe diem) and let
this be the opportunity that changes everything!

#2 The Next Coaching Group Intensive(tm) Starts April 1st
        Small Group, Action-Oriented Coaching!
        Low-price, HIGH octane solutions!

Top achievers ALWAYS have a support team to help them cut
through the clutter, clarify their goals and take ACTION!
Presidents have advisors, athletes have coaches and the
most productive people in every field know the value of a
MasterMind(tm) group. There is no point in "doing it
myself" or "re-inventing the wheel" when help, support,
solutions and brilliance are readily available! We all
know that "two heads are better than one" and that a TEAM
of smart, innovative people will beat a solitary straggler,
every time! The CGI-TEAM(tm) is limited to only 10 people
and will fill very quickly. For info and to join - - visit
the web at:

Group coaching is the most cost-effective, productive (and
FUN!) way to accelerate your success, achieve your goals,
and magnify your results! The support of other high-
achievers and the solution-focused discussions will
stimulate your thinking, keep you focused, and motivate
your daily performance.

This group always fills quickly, so if you would like more
info, visit the website and contact me quickly. I would
love to talk with you and, if appropriate, welcome you to
our TEAM!

#3.  Make Money From Your Current Website!
       (It's getting MUCH easier!)

I'm a "raving fan" of this system that makes it EASY to
sell my tapes, register people for my classes, and create
my affiliate program, and I want to give you a free tour -
and you can use the system FREE for 30 days! The owner is
Don Schnure, and he has an amazing "system" for helping me
make money with my website and newsletter, without having
to be a techno-wizard. I use the shopping cart, the
affiliate program (took less than an hour to set up!), and
the broadcast modules. It's so cool! Click here for the tour.

Some of the best comments in the world have been made about
